Win Fabulous Prize Packages in AccuQuilt’s 2018 Quilt Block Design Contest

Hi there, Shannon Fabrics Readers! We at AccuQuilt couldn’t be more excited to share that our 2018 Quilt Block Design Contest is officially open for entries! Being the year of our 10^th Anniversary, we wanted to go big, so we collaborated with companies across the fabric and quilting industries to offer this year’s participants more than $15,000 in prizes!

You can submit your entries through July 31. There is no cost or purchase necessary, and you can enter as many quilt block designs as you’d like! Here’s all you need to do to for your shot at the prizes:

Design an original quilt block that is based on AccuQuilt shapes (no sewing required!). If you are unfamiliar with AccuQuilt’s dies, you can find an equivalents chart here that shows our shapes.
Submit your design at https://www.accuquilt.com/contest as a digital file (.eps, .jpg, .png, .tif, etc.) before midnight on July 31.
Get your friends, family and fellow quilters to vote daily during the voting period, from Aug. 1 – Aug. 15, for your chance at being the Fan’s Choice Winner.

Shannon Fabrics is one of the contest sponsors and was generous enough to support our Grand Prize category with multiple Cuddle® Kits.

In total, this Grand Prize package is worth more than $8,000 and includes an expenses-paid trip to AccuQuilt Headquarters for the winner and a friend. While at our Headquarters, this person will serve as an honorary guest during our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration, which all leads up to the winning block being unveiled on our 17-foot sign outside of the corporate offices.

That’s not the only prize package we’re giving away, though. In addition to the Grand Prize, we’re excited to be giving away a Runner-Up Prize, a Fan’s Choice Prize and seven Honorable Mention Prizes. This means the top-10 placers in our contest all receive prize packages.

Along with the prizes that are awarded after voting, we’ll also be giving out a weekly $50 in AccuQuilt Rewards during the contest entry window. To be eligible for this random weekly drawing, you just have to submit a valid entry in the week leading up to the drawing. To maximize your chances of winning, enter at least one design per week!
