Wildly Cozy! Deer Runner Made with Cuddle® & AccuQuilt GO!
Hello everyone! I’m Naomi Stewart, a Cuddle® Ambassador from Montana. I love, love, love all things Cuddle®! Since I’m from Montana, when I saw this free pillow pattern from AccuQuilt, I immediately wanted to turn it into a table runner.
Also, anytime I see a normally furry animal—or a Santa or gnome beard—I have to make it out of Cuddle®!
Did you know that many AccuQuilt dies include a free machine embroidery file to accompany their designs? I’ve been wanting to try this technique, so this felt like the perfect project.

Instructions
- Using the instructions for the hideaway pillow pattern, make 4 blocks as you would for the pillow. Your finished block should measure approximately 11 inches by 11 inches.

6. Position the deer head over the placement line and press (polyester setting) using a pressing cloth or appliqué sheet to protect the Cuddle®. Be sure to fully cover the placement line.

7. Return the hoop to your machine and stitch your chosen design.

8. Remove the hoop, flip it over, and carefully trim the stabilizer close to the deer head without cutting any stitches.

9. Repeat Steps 4–8 for the remaining three blocks. Sew the four blocks together in a row, then add a 2½" border all the way around.
This was my first foray into using an embroidery design with the AccuQuilt GO! die and it surely won’t be my last. I loved this process and it created a very professional finish. Thank you, AccuQuilt!
