Today we have a new Cuddle quilt tutorial we wanted to share. We’re calling this project the “Over The Rainbow Cuddle Quilt.” It's by the talented Angela of Handmade in the Heartland.
Angela of Handmade in the Heartland blog was inspired to make this quilt for her young children. She says they LOVE soft fabric. Angela also wanted a throw size blanket that could cover her children when they slept, but was also small enough for them to carry around the house.
This pretty rainbow quilt is made with 10” squares from our colorful Cuddle Cakes precuts in Very Vibrant Solid. The Cuddle Cakes feature 20 pieces, two cuts of each fabric; all Cuddle 3® from our Kozy Cuddle collection. Angela also used some of our Cuddle 3® in Dark Lime for the backing and binding.
The project was originally created for the Great Cuddle Cake Challenge that we did with Fairfield. Ten designers were challenged to create a project combining our Very Vibrant Solid Cuddle Cakes with product from Fairfield.

Be sure to keep up with the rest of the tutorials from the Great Cuddle Cake Challenge. We’ll be sharing them here.
Hugs with Cuddle,
Ellen
