10 Stunning Projects You Can Make with A Luxe Cuddle® 2-Yard Cut

Please note that the images are directly from thefree patterns instruction sheets on the Shannon Fabrics website. The pattern and images may state or depict Cuddle® 3, Digital Cuddle® or different colored Luxe Cuddle®, but each of the patterns in the list below can be made with one Luxe Cuddle® 2-Yard Cut.

1. Infinity Scarves

An infinity scarf made with Luxe Cuddle® is a treasured gift. With a Luxe Cuddle® 2-Yard Cut piece, it would make six infinity scarves. Quickly knock off gift list items for your family and friends with something they will love to wear and keep them cozy warm all winter long. 

2. Cuddle® Baby Blankets

Two Cuddle® Baby Blankets can be made with a Luxe Cuddle® 2-Yard Cut. Optional - increase the length pattern dimension to the full 36” to use up all the fabric and end up with 29”W x 35L” with baby blankets.

3. Cuddle® Crib Sheet

A Cuddle® Crib Sheet is a terrific gift to that will work with two yards of Luxe Cuddle®. A Luxe Cuddle® crib sheet would make an incredible baby shower gift or a newborn welcoming present.

4. Cuddle® Cocoon Wrap

The Cuddle® Cocoon Wrap would be an amazing gift. I saw the wrap at a Bernina Cuddle® Up event earlier this year and loved it. I was waiting for the pattern to be released and happy to state it is now available. Wrap looks so elegant and is fairly simple to make. With size Medium can make two Cuddle® Cocoon Wraps and size Tall can make one wrap with some leftovers to make other gifts.

5. Cuddle® Pocket Scarf

Create two cozy Cuddle® Pocket Scarves with your two yard Cuddle® Cut. Pocket helps keep the fingers from getting too cold or holds a few essentials when you are out and about.

6. Luxe Cuddle® Stole

The pattern does call for a half yard of Cuddle® 3 (on the underside of the stole) and the Cuddle® 3 does help hold the stole from slipping. However, if you are looking for full-on luxury (understand it may be more apt to slip using all Luxe Cuddle® instead of both Luxe Cuddle® and Cuddle® 3) then using a Luxe Cuddle® 2-Yard Cut would make a beautiful stole. Additionally, you would have ½ yard of LC left over for another project.

7. Pillows
Lot of people find zippers daunting so there are some great zipper free patterns pillow patterns. Add appliques, embroider names, there are so many ways of making these your own creation.

*Zipper-Free Envelope Pillow

The Envelope Pillow pattern is simple and zipper free. Whip some up for easy gifts in a variety of sizes.

*Zipper-Free Pillow Sham

Another easy and zipper-free luxurious decoration. With two yards of Luxe Cuddle®, you can make two standard size pillow shams.

*Zipper-Free Star Pillow

The Star pillow is simple and a cute home decorating touch, along with a nursery addition; even tweens and teens like it. Whip up a bunch in no time.

*Cuddle® Pillowcase

Imagine having two Standard Size Luxe Cuddle® Pillowcases on your bed. While the contrast and main fabric would be the same color – it would be an amazing and luxurious addition to your bedroom, guest bedroom, or to gift to a friend.

*Zippered Throw Pillows

I have done more than a fair share of zippered pillows with Luxe Cuddle® and personally love the zippered pillow look. If zippers do not cause your heart to palpitate or your palms to sweat then check out the Throw Pillow pattern.

The Cuddle® Dreamz foam pillow inserts are very nice and a big time saver versus having to make and fill a pillow insert.

8.  Luxe Cuddle® Ottoman

With holiday get-togethers coming soon, an ottoman to relax your feet is a great home décor item. One ottoman with some spare material to make a coordinating pillow.

9. Barkley Sweaters

16 Barkley Sweaters to keep Barkley and his litter mates warm all winter are possible with a 2 yard cut  (this excludes the optional C3 Applique piece).

While that is an excessively large puppy litter size, another option would be one Barkley Sweater, a finished 24” x 24” zippered pillow, and three infinity scarves from the two-yard cut.
