There’s nothing more classic and iconic than a simple, no-frills teddy bear — it’s a toy that’s fun and comforting, and it’s popularity spans generations!
This week, for Sew Together Tuesday, our National Educator Teresa Coates shares her expert tips on how to make a teddy bear stuffed animal out of Cuddle® and Luxe Cuddle® fabrics. This project is the perfect pairing for minky, as it mimics the look of bear fur and makes the stuffie irresistibly soft and cozy.

She’ll be making a classic teddy bear using the Ben the Beginner Bear pattern from our friends at Funky Friends Factory (you might remember our elephant stuffie tutorial or dog stuffie tutorial featuring their patterns, too). She’ll walk through how to sew the food pads, two-piece arms and the shaped snout and head, as well as final assembly and stuffing tips.
Watch as Sew Together Tuesday is broadcasted LIVE from Inspired to Sew in Cedar Rapids, Iowa — happy sewing!
