We're kicking off the 12th season and well into our third year of Sew Together Tuesday!
After a month to clean up the studio and choose some new projects to share, our National Educator Teresa Coates is back LIVE for Sew Together Tuesday on August 8! She’ll be joined by co-host, Hawke Hamilton, to show how to use one of our brand new panels: B is for Bear. Soft books are a childhood favorite for many of us and perfect for keep little ones enraptured by the softness and the delightful illustrations.
Making a soft book is simple with a pre-printed panel and Teresa will show you a few tricks to make the construction easier. She’ll discuss using batting, flannel, interfacing and crinkle material to get the feel you want for the book, Plus she’ll show why you might want to find a hump jumper.
The B is for Bear Digital Cuddle® Panel includes both covers and inside pages, as well as the handles and complete instructions (but we’ll walk you through all of it on Sew Together Tuesday, too!)
Once you have learned how to put the book together, you’ll want to make more, so be sure to check out our Read to Me Cuddle Kits for more soft books and matching blankets.
Other Soft Books are available in the Read to Me Cuddle® Kit: Barnyard and Read to Me Cuddle® Kit: Forest, as well as individual panels: On The Farm Digital Cuddle® Panel and Critter Count Digital Cuddle® Panel (tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKU3g0U6oqQ)
