Shannon Fabrics Cuddle® Suede, (color - charcoal) is the featured fabric for this coat. It’s constructed entirely from scratch using New Look pattern #6416 Misses' Coat, Jacket and Vest Sewing Pattern from Simplicity® Pattern Co.
I thought the beautiful large collar on this pattern was begging for embellishment and couched yarn proved to be the perfect accent! Couching can be easily added to embellish collars, cuffs, or even an entire garment. You’ll see the Brother Dual Feed foot featured in this project. With the added couching accessory, this helps feed both fabric and yarn smoothly at the same time.
