Delightful Double Gauze Tiered Dress

Written by Ellen Mickelson | Aug 4, 2016 2:31:46 PM

Embrace® double gauze is the perfect substrate for lightweight breezy dresses. Meg at BurdaStyle sewed this pretty tiered dress and wrote a customized sewing tutorial all about her creative process.

Meg, the online editor at BurdaStyle.com, wanted to experiment with our Embrace® double gauze. She chose two colors from our Embrace cotton solids, Solid Embrace Teal and Solid Embrace Opal.

Meg wrote up a complete sewing tutorial on the BurdaStyle blog: The Making of my Double Gauze Dress. The tutorial includes tips and some of her favorite notions for double gauze (a SCHMETZ needle and Coats & Clark 100% polyester thread).

She also featured more details and engaging photos on the project here: Tiered Double Gauze Dress

Want to learn more about working with Embrace double gauze and other “tricky” fabrics? Meg is hosting a live webinar on August 23rd! Find out more and register for the webinar here.
