Cuddle + Flannel Baby Blanket with Easy Binding

Written by Ellen Mickelson | Mar 3, 2016 12:00:18 PM

Babies enjoy interesting textures and they are fond of all things soft and plush. Sew4Home designed a delightful baby blanket with Cuddle that’s lovely for a new baby gift, baby shower or for any baby on any occasion.

Sew4Home worked with Fabric Depot to create a step-by-step tutorial for a Cuddle and Flannel Baby Blanket.

The adorable blanket features self-binding mitered corners. An embossed Cuddle was used for the front. Sew4Home chose Cuddle Dimple® in Taupe.

A cotton flannel was used for the back and self-binding. And, a pretty serpentine rick rack trim in white adds more texture and embellishment.

Cotton batting was also used to make this blanket extra plush – Sew4Home chose Warm & Plush, a low loft batting from The Warm ® Company.

How cute is this? Wouldn’t it be a great baby gift?
