When we made the first Kimberbear, we knew this little guy was going to be popular with the little ones and three years later, we’re still making them! In fact, the Kimberbear was such a hit that we designed a fabric featuring it and a lovely kit to go along with it. It's been a hit and the perfect project for sewists to create and gift to new moms for their newborns.
The Cuddle Buddies Kimberbear kit is a fabulous collaboration with the folks at Kimberbell Designs and includes the fabric and patterns to make not just the bear, but also the blanket. The Lullaby-style blanket can be made with either the pink or blue Luxe Cuddle fabrics. In this week’s episode of Sew Together Tuesday, Teresa will show you how to use the appliqué sewing pattern included with the kit. With a few simple techniques, she’ll demonstrate the ways you can appliqué with your sewing machine for a lovely finish.
