Sew Together Tuesday: How to Sew a Cuddle Kit with a Longarm

Join us on Tuesday, September 26 for a special episode of Sew Together Tuesday when our National Educator, Teresa Coates, switches places with videographer (and longarm quilter!) Hawke Hamilton.  Together, they will tackle sewing together one of beautiful Cuddle kits with a longarm quilting machine.

Using the Blissful Bouquet Crazy 8 kit and Cuddle® 3 90 in Ink, Hawke will show a few techniques for using the longarm to both piece and quilt. With the ease of the horizontal lock mechanism, he’ll show how to put it together in the same manner as with a sewing machine. Then he’ll show how to to piece the quilt on the sewing machine to only quilt it on the longarm. Plus a combination of the techniques!

• Quilt batting
• Coordinating thread
• ODIF 505 basting spray
