Game On: Fun Minky Sewing Projects and Fabrics for Sports Fans

When it comes to sports, we've got you covered! Whether it's football, baseball, basketball or soccer, it's always fun to create projects and gifts for sports fans to enjoy off the field. With the Super Bowl just around the corner, we wanted to share some cute sports-themed projects and prints to wrap up in while watching the big game.

These sports-themed minky plush fabrics work great as a minky plush throw blanket to take to outdoor sporting events, or used as a bedspread or pillowcase for the little (or not-so-little) sports fanatic in your life.

These projects were created with a wide variety of Shannon Fabrics Cuddle® Solids and Prints and Luxe Cuddle®.

Most of the pillows were stuffed with our favorite polyester stuffing from Fairfield World and created using Metrosene polyester thread from Mettler. For the strip quilt, we used batting from Quilters Dream Batting, 505 temporary adhesive basting spray from ODIF and many of our other favorite sewing notions and tools.
