STT Season 11 Episode 2! 3 Ways to Bind Your Cotton Quilt with Cuddle®

STT Continues! This week we’ll be talking about how to finish that beautiful Cuddle-backed quilt. You’ve quilted it with Cuddle, now how do you want to finish it? Teresa Coates will show three ways to bind with Cuddle® (and a surprise bonus technique!)

Follow along as she demonstrates her preferred method of Self-Binding finish for a sleek wrap-around. She'll walk you through how to bind with Luxe Cuddle for a soft and fluffy binding or a smooth binding with Cuddle 3. Learn how to tackle the very common question of “Can you bind a Cuddle-backed quilt with cotton?” Join to find out. :)

We will discuss the sizes to cut for each type of binding, the tools that will help achieve the finest finish, stitch choices and factors to consider when choosing a binding style.

We’ll be using a variety of Cuddle and Luxe Cuddle fabrics, plus using The Other Side quilt pattern from Latifah Saafir Studios and cotton fabric designed by Christina Camelli for Maywood Fabrics. The collection is called Sun Showers. Follow the designers on instagram: @latifahsaafirstudios @afewscraps @maywoodstudio.
