Dream Big Reversible Cuddle Baby Blanket with Satin Ruffle

We all know babies love soft, lush and plush. And, it’s fun sewing cute little projects and gifts for babies. So Sew4Home designed a delightful baby blanket with a pretty ruffle edge. It's made with two different Cuddle® prints and soft Silky Satin. Sew4Home created a detailed sewing tutorial so you can make this blanket for your favorite baby.

Sew4Home created a step-by-step tutorial for this darling baby blanket. The tutorial details how to sew with Cuddle fabric, how to create a ruffle with Silky Satin, and how to create the layers- so the blanket is reversible and just as cute on the front as the back! Sew4Home also suggests some helpful tips, tools, and notions for the project, such as a using a pressing cloth with an Oliso iron - on low - for the ruffle only, using a Janome with a special ruffler attachment, and how to hand stitch the opening closed so the blanket looks gorgeous on both sides.

Sew4Home chose fabrics in yellow, silver and off white - so the blanket is gender neutral. Great for a baby shower gift when you don’t know if it’s a boy or girl!
