This pretty double gauze scarf has so many uses! It can be worn as a scarf, as a nursing cover, or used for a stroller or baby blanket. Vanessa from Tried & True created the scarf in Embrace® double gauze 100% cotton so it would be not only stylish and beautiful, but soft, comfortable and breathable. You can make this scarf following her easy tutorial.
The lovely, lightweight scarf is sewn in an attractive multi-color 'plus' print, embellished with a solid blue anchor applique. We think it looks great paired with jeans! And, it’s useful too--- with the secret corner snaps from Dritz it becomes a nursing cover. Or it can be used as an extra baby blanket. All you need to sew the scarf are a few sewing supplies and some fusible for the applique. Vanessa used Structure One Sided Fusible Interfacing from Fairfield World.
Vanessa chose our Embrace double gauze for the scarf. It’s 100% cotton so it’s breathable and lightweight, yet the double layers prevent it from being too sheer. She selected the bold Embrace A + print and added the anchor applique in solid Cobalt.
