Cuddle Travel Neck Pillow

Vanessa of Crafty Gemini Creates loves to sew, quilt and craft. These days since she’s often traveling to teach classes, she designed this Cuddle travel neck pillow to keep her comfy.

Vanessa created a tutorial for Missouri Star Quilt Company to show how to make the pillow. The tutorial includes a free downloadable template and a step by step how-to video.

She actually ended up making two different pillows. These pillows are great for airplane travel or long car rides too.

Both pillows have Cuddle prints on the front and Cuddle solids on the back. One features a fun airplane print (how appropriate, right?) and one is made with a houndscheck print.

Vanessa chose the following Cuddle fabrics for the fronts:

Houndscheck Cuddle Midnight/Teal a Robert Kaufman Cuddle Basics Collection

Aviator Cuddle Teal designed by Prints and Pattern, from Boy Toys, a Robert Kaufman Cuddle collection

She chose these Cuddle 3® solids for the backs:

Solid Cuddle 3® Apple Green (back of Houndscheck)

Solid Cuddle 3®Teal (back of Aviator)

Vanessa stuffed the pillows with POLY-FILL® polyester fiberfill from Fairfield World (we love this stuff!).

Even the Marketing Director at Missouri Star Quilt Co. loves his travel pillow!
