It’s the most wonderful time of year to create a warm and comfy quilt. So, we decided to make one that would keep you cozy and toasty in the winter months ahead. We created a quilt using ‘Tiger Eye’, a beautiful geometric pattern by Jenny Parks of Jenny Kae Quilts. Tiger Eye features our new Cuddle Cakes, made of soft and plush Cuddle. And, to introduce this new pattern, we’re having a GIVEAWAY! We’ve teamed up with Jenny Kae Quilts and Aurifil for a fantastic prize package. You can win everything you need to make this quilt: a bundle of Cuddle, a free Tiger Eye quilt pattern, and an Aurifil collection!
Since Tiger Eye is expressly made for precuts, Jenny decided to make the quilt with Cuddle Cakes precuts in Sterling Silver and Ultra Violet. She used her favorite thread, 50wt Aurifil, for piecing and quilting. She also used Warm & Natural batting from The Warm Company, but notes that batting is optional. Jenny machine quilted Tiger Eye for the finishing touch. This lovely quilt finishes 36" x 45.”
