Hi, Angel from Fleece Fun here! Have you crossed off everyone from your list? I confess I still have a few projects I'm trying to sneak in before Christmas! If you're looking for a wonderful and fast last minute gift to make for the holidays, this Cuddle® minky throw blanket is perfect! Two pieces of Cuddle® fabric merge to make a simple, yet elegant throw. Featured in this tutorial are Charcoal Cuddle® Toile (this has since been discontinued but you can use a solid or print of your choice) and Damask Cuddle® Charcoal/Snow from the Cuddle® Classics Collection. To see how simple and easy it is, follow the video tutorial below.
For this project you will need:
2 yards of Fabric 1
2 1/3 yards of Fabric 2
Rotary Cutter, Ruler and Mat
Marking pen
Sewing machine
Walking foot (optional, but recommended)
I have to confess that most of the items I make on my blog I give away, but this one I'm keeping!!! I've already snuggled underneath it to watch some movies in our cold basement. It's so soft and warm, it can also induce dozing on a chilly winter's night.
